In 2023, Kyle helped cut $430 million in taxes, including $100 million in property tax relief.
Cut Government Bureaucracy
In 2023, Kyle worked to create a new Government Reform Taskforce through HEA 1623; to find ways to streamline and cut burdensome and outdated government regulations.
In 2024, Kyle helped pass HEA 1003, a law on administrative law reform within our courts, providing Hoosiers a fairer shot at challenging bureaucratic agencies' rules and regulations.
Streamlining Education Regulations & Promoting School Choice
Kyle has ensured that our schools spend more time educating students than adhering to outdated or redundant regulations.
Kyle has promoted school choice and policies that ensure families are aware of their children’s curriculum in the classroom. In HEA 1001 in 2023; we expanded school choice opportunities for 97% of Hoosier Families.
Promoting Workforce Development
I have promoted initiatives that allow Hoosiers to obtain the necessary certifications and training efficiently. Many of today’s highest-paying jobs do not require a four-year degree. Instead, they require technical licenses or certifications.
Promoting opportunities for students to attend trade schools and career training to acquire hands-on skills for high-paying jobs while also avoiding large amounts of student loans.
In 2023 in HEA 1002 and 2024 in HEA 1001, Kyle supported and helped pass laws that provide students with career pathways in various industries.
